GRPD: Man in critical condition after shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids officers say one man is in critical condition after a shooting in the city’s southeast side.

Authorities said it happened around 9 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Miss Tracy’s Liquor Store on Franklin Street SE, near Neland Avenue SE.

Officers located a male victim with a gunshot wound and provided first aid until medical personnel transported the man to an area hospital where he is in critical condition.
