Report of shooting in south Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say someone was shot in the south side of Grand Rapids Sunday morning.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Police say a large crowd gathered at Franklin Street SW and Division Avenue SE. Police received calls of several gunshots heard in the area.

Grand Rapids police say a person with a gunshot wound to their leg checked into the hospital.

Officers looked for a shooting scene but could not find where the victim may have been shot.
