East Beltline reopens after 3-vehicle crash in GR Twp.

GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — East Beltline Avenue is back open Monday morning after a three-vehicle crash.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at 4 Mile Road in Grand Rapids Township.

Police say a 36-year-old man was driving a Chevy Silverado north in the southbound lane when he crashed head-on into a Subaru Forester being driven by a 66-year-old woman. She then ran into another car, according to the Michigan State Police.

The drivers of the Silverado and Forester have serious injuries. A passenger was seriously hurt as well, police say.

Investigators believe alcohol was involved.
