Members of the Alabama Medical Hashish Fee (AMCC) voted to scale back most marijuana enterprise license charges by 25% throughout a Thursday assembly.
With annual license charges starting from $30,000 to $40,000, the regulatory company will lose income totaling $147,500, AMCC spokesperson Brittany Peters instructed 1819 Information.
“It’s only a one-time discount,” Peters mentioned.
“They’ll return to the charge schedule that was adopted by the fee in 2022 after that.”
